John is a Founding Partner of The Zygos Partnership. He focuses on Chief Executive and Chairman appointments for major quoted companies.
John has been in top level executive search for 25 years. For 17 years he was the European Chairman of Heidrick & Struggles responsible for the Board Practice. He is the author of five books: One Man Band, Career Turnaround, The Culture Wars, Drive and, most recently, So You Dream of Being a Chief Executive.
John has a BSc. in Physics from the University of Sussex , and a BA in Music and a PhD in Physics from Kings College, Cambridge. He is a Chartered Physicist, a Chartered Electronics Engineer, a Member of the Kings College Cambridge Development Committee, a Trustee of The London Philharmonic Orchestra and served on the Tyson Committee. |
