Evolving the boardroom

The past 20 years have seen a significant improvement in the quality of CEOs, and the UK has become world leading in the excellence of its boards and its approach to governance in a way that was unthinkable before.

Our partners have been active catalysts in this evolution; as early players in the professionalisation of boardroom search before the creation of Zygos, and since as contributors to the Higgs, Tyson, Davies, Hampton-Alexander and Parker reviews.

We co-authored the Executive Search Firms’ Code of Best Practice for the promotion of gender diversity in FTSE 350 companies, and wrote the London Stock Exchange’s guidance for companies planning to list on structuring an effective board.

Most significantly, we have enabled the appointment of many hundreds of next generation board directors who will continue this evolution.  Because good governance goes to value.
